Photographer's Choice: Late Fall

 

 
 The occasional deciduous tree speckled along the road provides lovely contrast with the evergreens, and despite how late it is in the season, many of these trees still hold firmly onto their leaves.

The damp soil and dying leaves on the ground provide excellent conditions for fungi to grow.
